Heart Attack Care
Our emergency services exceed all state and national best practice averages relating to emergency care for heart attack and congestive heart failure — thanks in part to our HeartWatch team , who coordinate with EMS to prepare for quick and potentially life-saving action in the event of a heart attack. Stroke Care
Certified as a Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center, Christian Hospital is recognized for its excellence in stroke care. We work in close coordination with the neurology and EMS teams to provide stroke patients with immediate access to brain imaging scans, evaluations with neurologists and clot-busting medication, should it be necessary. Emergency Medical Service (EMS)
The Christian Hospital EMS department (CHEMS) operates a fleet of advanced life-support ambulances, as well as a heliport, to provide lifesaving services whenever and wherever they're needed. They work directly with our emergency department staff to ensure a continuity of care in the event of medical emergencies, to improve outcomes whenever possible.
